EQ is an perfect example of how unfair the music bizz is. Even though they spit out amazing songs in the years 2002-2006, they never had a real record deal. They were from a small town in south of Sweden called Landskrona. EQ is a short for "Equal". The group members was L.I.P. aka F.Khan and Persian Prince aka PoP or Double P.
Ferdi (L.I.P.) was a good member of T-Music first years when we started out. Then one day he said to me "Hey, you know I make my own music aswell"... And from that it started. When I heard the song "Moon In Your Eyes" or "Feelings", I immediately fell in love. This was music that we here on T-Music love so much. Just as good as Nana or Down Low. Soon, there were over 200 comments on the forum about EQ's songs. "In My Eyes", "Lost", "Oh oh", "Party", "Moon In Your Eyes" etc etc... There were at least 20 amazing songs from them. I remember sending the song "Moon In Your Eyes" to Mike "Jay Dogg" Johnson from 2-4 Family and he busted out "Man, these guys can be number one!!".
In years 2005-2006, Ferdi came to the forum less and less. I don't know his real reason, but he would never tell. In the end of 2005, he send me their new songs "Listen" and "How High", and that was the last I heard from him... I don't know what happened, but it's a great shame that we have no contact anymore. Cause I still know today that these guys could be, as Mike said, number one...
